UNIT 7: THE NEW COMMER

This is Courtney, she is the newest worker/person to come aboard. She is one of our schedulers in the dispatching department here at Healthtrac, Inc. she likes to spend her time at the copier, I don't know why, but, it may be the sound of the copier, or may be the flashing light from the copier that makes her like being at the copier. Being that she is the newest person in dispatch, she had to get initiated, she had to prove that she is able to work under pressure. After, her training for two weeks she came into the office the next work day which was Monday and found no one was there in the dispatching department, she had to dispatch the work to all the tech's and schedule all the work that service had taken that night and she still had to answer all the phone calls coming in for that morning. At the end of the day she did wonderful, pass the test and showed that she can work under pressure.

UNIT 6: THREE MORE CO-WORKS--First, Barbara the brave one-Second, Marilyn The Helper- Third,Denise-Spiritual and Joyful

Barbara, Ummmm What can I say, well she is calm, kool, and collected until you get on her bad side. The reason I call her THE BRAVE ONE is because our office is in college point, Flushing Queens and she lives in Philledilphia (Philly). She travels 2 hours sometimes it takes her 3 hours by bus to come into the office. However, She only comes into the office two days a week.

Marilyn, I call her the helper because, she likes to help people no matter the situation. Her family always look to her for help when ever they are stuck in a situation, Marilyn is the person they call. She took care of her mother, her father, her sister, who have all past away and now she is taking care of her Aunt who is in a nursing home, she is truly a blessing.

Denise, There is not much to say about Denise. She is a happy, spiritual, joyful person. She is also very giving and caring. A few months ago she went with her son to help the homeless. She gave them food, blankets, clothes and most of all she held all their hands and she prayed for/with them. She is a good person.

Unit 5: A SNOW FALLS IN BROOKLYN

Here is a scenery of the park. It is not very easy to see because I took the picture from my Step. It the one with the big tree in it. I know this might not be a lot of snow to how some states may have gotten hit with snow such as; Washington D.C, Chicago and New Jersey but, I was certainly a lot of snow for me. On Monday every news channel had stated that there would be snow coming. It will be a lot of snow approximately 12 inches about 1 foot, I did not really believe that it was going to snow, because the news reporters are always saying and saying and sometimes what they say does not come true, but when I woke up that morning and saw what the weather was like outside I said, WOW, the news reporters was right this time. My son and I went outside and shovel the snow that morning before I went to work, Oh yeah speaking of work, my co-workers and I drove into work when the snow was pretty light but, and I do mean but, after about 3 hours the snow came down in buckets so our boss told us to pack up and go home. While driving on the Jackie Robinson I could not see anything in front of my face I was hoping not to hit anything especially another car, I even had my head lights and hazard lights on but still could not see anything. But, finally I made it home safely and when I got back home Oh Boy, it was like I never shovel any thing. My son and I got back out there and shovel again, but it was still snowing so we just shovel a little bit and put some salt down and just left it. We went back out the next morning shoveled up the rest of the snow, putting down the salt made it much easier we started from 7am and got finish by 9:30am finally, Then i went on to work. WHEW, I'm glad that there is no major for this kind of job.

ANTHEA LONG

This is a co-worker of mine. Her name is Anthea, every one calls her Thea. We work together at a company call Healthtrac, inc. Healthtra is a diagnostic company. She works in a different department than I do. She is a scheduler. She takes the calls coming and and scedule the appointments to the nursing facilities and then dispatch the work to the technician. I'm the Godmother for her son Christian. The day she ask me was a great day for me. I fell proud that I'm his Godmother. However, As you can see she loves her job. lol

A Surprise Moment

Unit 4: This is my son and his fiance' his name is Steven and her name is Shequanna. They are planning to get married in August of 2010. I know she is going to make a beautiful bride. She do not have a wedding planner to help her. She is doing this all by herself with a little help from her sister princess. I know the wedding is going to turn out great.
